Letter from Nicholas Biddle to Poletica, also known as Pierre de Poletica, sending a copy of his address before the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture on January 15, 1822. Poletica's response is dated March 22, 1822. The third item is a photograph of a portrait identified as Chevalier Pierre de Poletica, envoy and minister plenipotentiary from Russia to the United States, "portrait formerly owned in the Hopkinson family."
